Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jeffers, he was born Mar 3, 1907, at Brown City.
He and Miss Bernice Brown were married Jan 23, 1925 at Detroit. They lived in Brown City until 1926 when they moved to Harbor Beach.
Mr. Jeffers was employed five years by Pere Marquette Railroad and the last 38 years by Huron Milling Company and Hercules Inc.
He is survived by his widow, two sons, Robert F. Jeffers, Lockport, IL, and Thomas A. Jeffers, Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Alvin Guitar, Mrs. Charles Fyfe and Mrs. Lee David, all of Harbor Beach; 12 grandchildren, a brother, P. F. Jeffers in California, and two sisters, Mrs. Ellis Stacy, Lapeer and Mrs. Nelson Tapson, Marlette.
