Richard Roy Ries, 84, passed away peacefully on 12/30/2016, surrounded by his family & friends. He was brought up on a farm in Michigan with his four siblings. He has been a resident of Fontana, CA for the better part of his life. He was happily married to Sara Jane, and a proud & hardworking Father. He is survived by his daughter, Noreen Ries, daughter-in-law, Shelly Krupp, son, Richard Ries & his wife, Danielle Ries & grandson, R. Ryder Ries.
His services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary at 10 am, January 19th & graveside service will be held after reception at Green acres in Fontana, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Adoption Center.
