Richard Reasoner, 67, of Rapid City died Friday evening, Dec 8, 1989 at Little Traverse Hospital, Petoskey.
Mr. Reasoner was raised in Muskegon, but lived most of his life in the Rapid City area. He was an electrician with Xerox Corporation, and he was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was born June 19, 1922 in Alden to Weldon John and Marvel (Parks) Reasoner. On June 18, 1986 in Kalkaska he was married to Carol Williams, and she survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mamie) Dollaway, Mrs. Cy (Loraine) Ferral, and Susan Johnson of Muskegon and Mrs. Jim (Tammy) Leitow of Alden; three sons, Richard and Raymond Reasoner of Muskegon and Terry Reasoner of Grawn; 24 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Giro; four sisters, Merle, Wenonah, Dawn and Doreen; and two brothers, Clint and Bud.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona with Pastor Marvin Claassen officiating. Burial was in Helena Township Cemetery, Alden.
