Richard H. Sanahan, 58, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Aug 29, 1994, at Munson Medical Center.
Mr. Shananhan moved to Kalkaska 21 years ago from Grand Rapids. Prior to his retirement he had been employed by the Walter Hagen Company in Grand Rapids.
Born on Sep 16.1935, in Kent County, he was the son of the late Jerry and Roselle Dorman Shanahan.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (and wife, Cheryl) Shanahan of Caledonia, and Ronald (and wife, Sandy) Shanahan of Harrietta; two daughters, Mrs. Phil (Kathleen) Richards of Grand Rapids, and Colleen Shanahan also of Grand Rapids; a special friend, Rachel Meadows of Kalkaska; 12 grandchildren; adn several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Patrick and Leo, and one sister, Geraldine Pierson, preceded him in death.
Memorial services were held at 7pm Thu, Sep 1, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor Paul Pletcher officiated. Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
