Richard E. Whitehead Sr., 58, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Mar 27, 2000 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Rick resided in Adrian until moving to Kalkaska in 1968. At the time of his death he was employed by Wayne Wire Cloth Products. He served as Excelsior Township treasurer, and was a member of the Excelsior Church of Christ. He formerly served as a member of the Crawford School Board and as a member of the CETA Fire Department. He enjoyed camping and especially his grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services are at 2 pm Thu, Mar 30 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Jeff Badgero will officiate. Burial will be in Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wed, Mar 29.
