Richard A. Lucas, 61, a longtime resident of the Mancelona and Kalkaska areas, died Sat, Dec 11, 1999, in Shreveport, LA.
Mr. Lucas was born in Antrim on Oct 18, 1938, to James and Ruth Moore Lucas.
He worked for many years as a truck driver.
Surviving are son Randall Lucas of Kalkaska; daughters Geri Lucas and Connie Henderson, both of Lakeland, FL; brothers James Lucas of Mancelona and Gary Lucas of Gaylord; fiancee Sena Black of Johannesburg; the mother of his children, Maxine of Lakeland, FL; and seven grandchildren.
Son Ronald and brother Kendall preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Fri, Dec 17, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Mark McCool, pastor of the Antrim Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
