Reignold J. Field, 82, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Jan 25, 1997, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. 

 He was born Apr 13, 1914 in Gwinn to Hugo and Alma (Peterson) Field. Mr. Field married Nell Hansen in Ketchikan, Alaska on Nov 22, 1952. She died Nov 16, 1983. 

He is an Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Medical Corps in Germany for four years. He was employed by the Ketchikan Pulp Mill in Alaska as a painter for 24 years. He and his wife returned to Kalkaska to live in the family home. 

Mr. Field was a devout Christian and devoted to his church, the Harvestime Church of God. He enjoyed singing and often sang for his friends at the Senior Center. 

He is survived by his sister, Margaret Casassa of Ferrysburg; nieces Elise (Robert) Glettler of Ada, Gianine Casassa and Mary Beth, both of Ferrysburg and Christine (Bernard) Heethuis of Acma; great nephews James and Robert Brian Glettler of Ada and granddaughter Doreen of Peoria, IL. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother Harold, brother Robert and sister Olive Radspieler. 

Private family services were held with Rev. Fred Coats officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
