Raymond P. Collett, 58, of Piqua, died at 6:54pm Sat, Jun 28, 2014 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born in Piqua, on February 26, 1956 to the late Don and Evelyn (Heffelfinger) Collett. On December 21, 1974, in Piqua, he married Judy Waugh. She survives.
Raymond is survived by one son and daughter in law, Matthew and Michelle Collett, Piqua; one daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Robert Evans, Piqua; one granddaughter, Julia Evans; one brother and sister in law, John and Bev Collett, Piqua; one sister: Mary Slaybaugh, Piqua. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles (Ed) Collett and Elmer (Pete) Collett.
Raymond worked at Jackson Tube Service in Piqua for 30 years. He retired from Jackson Tube as supervisor of production. He loved to fish and was a hand gun collector and enthusiast for over 20 years. He loved to spend as much time as possible with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Thur, Jul 3, at Melcher Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua with Rev. Jeff Hill officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 3pm Thur at the funeral home.
