Raymond L. Haskin, age 26, of Springfield Township, Kalkaska County passed away at 5:00 a.m. Sunday when his home was destroyed by fire. Surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin A. Haskin, and two brothers, Kenneth and Albert, all of Grand Rapids; four sisters, Mrs. Maurice (Dorothy) Clark of Fife Lake, Mrs. Myron (Betty) Blake of Kalkaska, Mrs. Richard (Louise) Norman of Manton, and Mrs. Jose Ballierrez of Portage, Mich, and many other relatives. Mr. Haskin was born September 11, 1945 in Kalkaska County. He was married November 9, 1963 to Sandra L. Tyrell, who passed away in the fire that took his life. Mr. Haskin was employed at 4-Star Manufacturing in Mesick for the past two years. He moved with his family to Kalkaska from Grand Rapids in 1969. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley, with Rev. Oscar Coolbaugh, officiating. Interment in Clark Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
