Randal “Randy” J Weaver, 71, passed away on Feb 8, 2023 at Albany Health Care Nursing Home.
He was born in Montpelier on Jun 1, 1951 to John Henry Weaver and Alta I (Tudor) Weaver. His parents preceded him in death.
Randy graduated from Montpelier High School in 1969. He retired from Hartford Concrete Products, where he was a truck driver.
Randy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a people person and loved hanging out with his friends and family, grilling steaks, cooking fish, or just drinking beer. He had a heart of gold and liked to help others when he could. He had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting, canoeing, and working on cars.
Randy will be sadly missed by his children, Kaylen A (husband, Daniel R.) West of Gaston and Kameron J (wife, Delainie A.) Weaver of Muncie; grandchildren, Ryan West, Lily West, Rowen West, Nolan West, Quinn West, Tate Weaver, and Graham Weaver; brothers, Mike J (wife, Connie) Weaver of Mississippi, Rick J Weaver (friend, Julie) of Muncie and Mark J (wife, Beth) Weaver of Hartford City; 3 nephews and 1 niece, close friends, Pat McAtee and Ted Williams.
Memorial service for Randy will be at 6 pm Mon, Feb 13, 2023 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St, Hartford City.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm Mon, Feb 13, 2023 at Keplinger Funeral Home. Randy will be cremated.
