Phyllis Caudy died April 16, 1990, after a two year battle with cancer, at her winter residence in Ft. Pierce, Fla.
She had been a customer service manager of the Lake City Carter Ford Store.
She was born and raised in Elsie, Mich., the daughter of Gilbert and Mary Davis and had spent the last 42 years with her high school sweetheart, Vincent Caudy who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Gail and Tim Schwartz of Traverse City, Lynn and Robert Porter of Grayling; four granddaughters; three step grandchildren; her mother Mary Stadick of Elsie; stepmother, Mary B. Davis of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jean and Don Huguelet of Elsie, Faye and Robert Oliver of Traverse City, and Joanne and Ray Chase of East Lansing, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held at the Carter-Smith Funeral Home in Elsie on April 19, 1990 with burial at the Riverside Cemetery.
