Phoebe I. Hogman, 95, of Kalkaska, passed away peace- fully on Sunday, June 8, 2003, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center - Longterm Care.
She was born on July 4, 1907, in Wyandotte, the daughter of Adolph and Josephine (Allore) Rushlow.
Phoebe married Walter Hogman on Dec. 31, 1927. They were residents of Kalkaska since 1972, moving from Wyandotte after Walter retired.
Phoebe was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, and son, Russell.
Surviving Phoebe are her children, Doris and Art Lehmann of Trenton., Charlene Hoffer of Lansing, Walter John and Athelia Hoagman of Virginia, Jill and Richard Johnson of Clearwater, Fla.; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and dear friend, Anna Redmond.
A funeral service was conducted Friday, June 13, at Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. David Rosenberg of the Bear Lake Christian Church officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba.
Memorials may be given on behalf of Phoebe to the Bear Lake Christian Church, 221 E. Bear Lake Road SE, Kalkaska, Mich. 49646. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
