Philip Lynn Ayers, aged 64, of Caledonia, passed away unexpectedly on Oct 5, 2010, while golfing, which he especially loved. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip O. Ayers; brother, Mark Ayers. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 26 years, Sandra; children, Suzy Ayers, Heidi (Tom) Haggerty, Laura (Tim) Rydahl, Brent Eggeman, Scott Eggeman, Philip (Korin) Ayers; grandchildren, Nicole (Brian), Patrick, Emily, Abby, Danielle, Joshua, Jeremy, Shane, William; two great grandchildren, Preston, Jazmine; mother, Colleen Ayers; brothers, and sisters, David (Brenda) Ayers, Doug (Vicki) Ayers, Luanne (Doug) Gould, Misty Ayers, jeff Ayers; many nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. He retired after 29 years from Central Transport. Phil loved racing cars, golfing, fishing, and camping. He was an all around handyman, who was always helpful to anyone in need. A celebration of his life will be held Friday at 1 pm at Tyler Creek Golf Course Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
