Paul A. Wolf, age 82, of Gaylord, passed away on March 11, 2009. He was born Jan. 27, 1927, the son of Arthur and Margaret (Clark) Wolf. Paul was born and raised in the Gaylord area. He lived in Detroit for a number of years before moving back to Gaylord. He served in the US Navy during WWII. On Nov. 23, 1974, Paul married the former Joyce E. Sewell, who survives. He enjoyed woodworking and built many windmills.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, Paul is survived by his children, George (Shaun) Wolf, Brian (Lori) Rosenburg and Brenda A. Wolf-Sanders; daughter-in-law, Shirley Wolf; 12 great-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Gloria), Joseph (Emma), Harry (Pat), Ernie (Carol) and Ray (Cleavann); sisters, Anna (Rudy) Northcutt, Laura (Bob) Hausler, Emily Oettel, Martha Wolf, Ilah (Bill) Webber and Ruthie (Jerry) Phillips; sister-in-law, Helen Wolf; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Wolf; son, Michael A. Wolf; and brother, Arthur Wolf.
