Patti Jo Hawkins Carlton, aged 44, went to Heaven as an Angel on Thursday morning, Nov 23, 1995. She was a graduate of Rockford High School class of 1969, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #102 in Rockford. Patti is survived by three children, Jason Burns of Grosse Pointe Park, Alicia Burns of Belmont, Stephanie Carlton of Rockford; her parents, Olney Lee and Florece (nee Chollar) Hawkins of Belmont; her brothers and sisters, Beth Hawkins of Belmont, Susan (David) Faber of Conklin, Jeff Hawkins of Belmont ,Kyle Hawkins of Grand Rapids, Ken Muilenberg of Belmont; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. A Service celebrating the life of Patti Jo will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at the funeral home with The Rev. Fr. James Bozung officiating. Interment in Blythefield Memory Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider her children’s education. Patti’s family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00 until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
