Patricia Shephard, age 82, of Brown City, MI passed away surrounded by her loving family Sun, Apr 11, 2021 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron, MI.
She was born Jun 21, 1938 in Marlette, MI daughter of Herbert and Verna (Proctor) Potter. Patricia graduated from Marlette High School with the Class of 1956. She married Lloyd Shephard on Sep 28, 1957 at Marlette Second Presbyterian Church. Patricia farmed for over 63 years with her husband Lloyd. She was a 4H Leader for 52 years. Patricia attended the 4H Fair all her life. The highlight for her was watching her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids, show their animals. She was the official ribbon keeper at the shows. Patricia enjoyed driving her Amish friends and neighbors across the U.S. and Canada. She loved gardening, canning, and knitting.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lloyd Shephard; children, Diane Shephard, Wanda (Brian) Grifka, Terrie Brewer, Raymond Shephard, and Alan Shephard; grandchildren, Nicholas (Katelyn), Anthony (Kenra), Elizabeth (Matthew), Kellie (Ravi), Jonathon (Abigail), Jacob (Hannah), Brittany, and Alexandrea; great grandchildren, Lily, Bailie, Jordyn, Logan, Aaron, Holland, and Race; brothers, Jay (Barb) Potter, Larry (Janis) Potter, Bill Potter, and Bruce (Alicia) Potter; sister in law, Leola Brock; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter in law, Tricia Shephard; parents Herbert and Verna Potter; brother, Norman Potter; sister, Emma Potter; and father and mother in law, Richard and Emma Shephard.
The family will receive visitors from 2 to 8 pm Thu, Apr 15, 2021 at Marsh Funeral Chapel 2675 Main St, Marlette, MI.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm Fri, Apr 16, 2021 at Omard Cemetery, Brown City, MI.
