Patricia Denise Dooley (68) of Fife Lake, Michigan passed away on October 17th, 2023, at her home while surrounded by family. Patti was born in Detroit on March 16th, 1955, to the late Raymond F. Peka and Eleanore D. Oldakowski. Patti is survived by her husband Michael, brother Raymond (Butch), children’s father Keith, daughter Tamara, son Daniel, son in law Shaun, daughter-in-law Kellie, grandchildren (Erkika, Zaydrian, Zoey, Hunter), loving relatives, longtime friends, and pet cats. She is predeceased by her sisters Lois and Jane. Patti and Mike were married at their home on July 21st, 2007. Their many bridesmaids and groomsmen were a testament to the community of support that still surrounds them. Throughout her life, Patti Primarily worked as a bank teller and bookkeeper in addition to caring for her loved ones. Patti enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, fishing, traveling, visiting with her kids, telling jokes, hosting parties, playing games, and having fun. Pat had several nicknames and stories to go with them. She will be missed by many (downstate and up north). Patti was generous, compassionate, outgoing, strong, resilient, classy, and thoughtful. Grandma Patti remembered everyone’s birthdays; may we always remember her life and legacy. Patti was a heart transplant survivor of over seven years. She was baptized Catholic and anointed before her death. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21st, 2023, at the Kalkaska Funeral Home (11:00 A.M. viewing, 12:00 P.M. service, 1:00 P.M. luncheon). She will then be buried at approximately 3:00 P.M. at Clark Cemetery on the corner of Shippy and Coster Roads in Fife Lake.
