Oppie "Len" Young III, 50, died Oct 16, 1999, at Munson Health Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Young had been a resident of Kalkaska for the past 10 years having moved from Searcy, Ark. He was a member of Local 798, Tulsa, OK, working as a welder's helper.
He was born Aug 26, 1949, in Searcy, to Oppie Lenox Young Jr and Mildred Waller. On Apr 6, 1992, in Kalkaska, he married Nancy McConachie, who survives.
He is also survived by daughter Holly, and sisters Madlyn, Melanie, and Marilyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
