Odessa Mae Huff, 86, of Traverse City, died Fri, Nov 28, at home.
Mrs. Huff had previously resided in Fife Lake. In 1993 she made her home in Traverse City. She was employed by Shakespeare Corporation in Kalamazoo for 25 years as a machinist. She was an avid hunter, bowler, and enjoyed fishing.
Born in Hammond, IN on Dec 5, 1910, the daughter of Rueben and Hannah (Herring) Johnson. On Mar 29, 1935, in Niles, she married Roger Huff, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are son Jack R. Dowell of Portage; brother John A. Johnson of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, and her husband.
Funeral services were held Tue, Dec 2, at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Pastor Art Covell officiated. Burial was in Mt. Everest Cemetery in Kalamazoo.
