Norval E. Jones, age 60, died Oct 24, 2000. Born Jan 21, 1940, in Mason, Mr. Jones worked with Asphalt Paving for 40 years, the last 15 with Tom’s Advanced Paving, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Loving husband, dad, grandpa, and brother, surviving are his wife of 37 years, Wanda; 4 children, Cheryl (Mark) Workman, Diane Jones, Joanne (Wayne) Bishop, and Judie (Troy) Walden; 8 grandchildren, Geneal, Staci, Kate, Traci, Amanda, Caitlyn, Kyle, and Alyssa; 1 sister, Ruth Bivins; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Fri, Oct 27, 7 pm at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Ball-Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, with Olam Thomas, Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Williamston officiating. The family will receive friends at the Chapel 1 hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, 3315 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Lansing 48910, in memory of Mr. Jones.
