Norman L Nichols, 74, of Kalkaska, passed away on Jan 26, 2006, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was the beloved father of Debra Dee Nichols (Alan Miller) of Kalkaska; grandfather of Chadwick Emerson Moffitt and Christopher Charles Moffitt, both of Jackson; great grandfather of Jordon Austin Moffitt of Jackson; and brohter of Janet Benedict of Jackson.
Norman married the love of his life, Shirley Hayes, on Jul 26, 1952, in Jackson. She preceded him in death.
He enjoyed the "great outdoors," hunting, fishing, and was a great story teller.
The funeral service was held Sun, Jan 29 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The Rev. David Rosenberg of Bear Lake Christian Church officiated. A graveside service was held on Tue, Jan 31, at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jackson.
