Norma Fay Hendershot, 68, of Fife Lake, passed away on Sat, Mar 27, 2010 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. Born on Feb 15, 1942 in Detroit, she is the daughter of the late David and Florence Ruby.
Norma married Elton Hendershot on Jan 27, 1962 in Kalkaska. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Norma's hobbies included bowling, crocheting, doll making, watching movies on the satellite, and camping with her family. Norma donated her corneas to the Michigan Eye Bank because two of her grandchildren were born blind.
Norma is survived by her children, Lisa (Dave Nieman) Hendershot of Belville, Lorie (Richard) Havey of Northwood, OH, Amy (Ken Bellanger) Hendershot, and Tammy Dodge of Kalkaska, and David Hendershot of Marion; her grandchildren, Christina Havey and April Havey both of Northwood, Samantha Dodge of Kalkaska, and Hailey and Tanner Hendershot of Marion.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Elton.
A memorial service honoring Norma's life will be held on Sat, Apr 3, at 2 pm at Norma's home. Pastor David Rosenberg will be officiating.
