Neal E. Stampfler – 2534 Portage, formerly of Fine Lake, age 15, passed away early Thursday morning at Borgess Hospital from injuries suffered Nov. 20, (1971). Neal was born January 26, 1956, in Battle Creek,, the son of Anyd and Georda Cantrell Stampfler. He attended Delton – Kellogg School thru his freshman year and had been attending Loy Norrix High School the past year. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Joseph (Georda) Doke of Safety Harbor, FL; his father, Andy Stampfler of Kalamazoo; one sister, Sandra Kay of Kalamazoo; a half-brother, John of Kalamazoo; several step-brothers and sisters; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Duane A. Cantrell of Battle Creek; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Ambrose L. Stampfler of Orangeville; 2 uncles.
