Mitchell Pierce Norton, four month old son of Eric and Erin (Deater) Norton of Williamsburg, died Mar 16, 1998, at Munson Medical Center.
Mitchell was born in Traverse City on Nov 17, 1997.
Surviving are his parents; maternal grandparents Ned Deater of Greenville and Joan Deter of Elk Rapids; paternal grandparents Ben and Donna Norton of Hot Springs Village, AR; maternal great grandparents Harvey and Helen Deter of Rapid City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Peggy Laird.
A celebration of his life, not a mourning of his death, was held March 18 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The Rev. Louise Kountz officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
