Mrs. Minnie Mae (Mamerow) Forsyth, of Millington, passed away, Friday, July 31, 1998 at her daughter’s (Carolyn Pletchers) in Millington. Minnie was born in Flint on Jun 12, 1899, the daughter of Theodore and Louise (Reitebuch) Mamerow. Her family moved to Millington when she was nine years of age and she spent the remainder of her life in the Millington area. She married Henry O Forsyth jr. on December 24, 1919, she was a member of the United Methodist Church at Millington. Surviving are four daugthers, Gertrude (John) Foley, Albertine (Alfred) Burns, Elinor (Charles) Kroll, Carolyn (Elwyn) Pletchers; 3 sons, Dr. Henry (Hettie Ruth), Norman, and James Forsyth; daughter-in-law, Marie Steele, 35 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry in 1944; daughters, Wilma Jean in 1961, son, Burton in 1975. 4 brothers, Frank, Henry, Albert, and Arthur. Funeral services for Minnie will be held Monday, August 3, 1998 at 11 am at the Millington United Methodist Church with the burial to follow at the Millington Twp Cemtery.
