Mildred "Minnie" McGhie, 92, of Munising, died Tuesday, Nov 6, 1990, at Marquette General Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. McGhie had resided in Munising since 1963, formerly of Detroit and Kalkaska.
She was a member of the Alger County Historical Society and the Senior Citizens. She worked in Detroit as an accountant in the tourist-entertainment business for many years.
She was born in Kalkaska February 8, 1898 to George A. and Martha E. (Malden) Morse.
Her husband Lawrence preceded her in death as did numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov 8, 1990, at the Bowerman Funeral Chapel in Munising. Rev. Robert W. Sutherland officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
