Mrs. Mildred E. Stahr, 83, of South Boardman, died Fri, Aug 5, 1994 at her residence. 

Mrs. Stahr moved to South Boardman from Omaha, NE in 1975. Prior to her retirement in 1972, she had been employed as a psychiatric technician at the V.A. Medical Center in Omaha. She enjoyed reading, ceramics, and her home and family. 

Born in York, NE on Apr 29, 1911, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary Imel Freeman. On Jul 13, 1931, in Kingman, AZ, she was married to Ralph Stahr who preceded her in death on Dec 1, 1984. 

Surviving are three sons, Robert of Ogallala, NE, James of Arlington, NE, and Tommy of Parker, CO; one daughter, Marilyn Pojar of South Boardman; one step daughter, Donna Gutherless of Grand Island, NE; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. 

One stepson, Dallas Stahr, two grandsons, Robert Stahr and Steven Gutherless; three sisters, Hazel, Bessie, and Mable; and three brothers, Guy, Clarence, and Harold, preceded her in death. 

Memorial services were held Tue, Aug 9, 1994, at the South Boardman United Methodist Church. Pastor Howard Seaver officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, York, NE. 

Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Assn. or the American Cancer Society.
