Mildred B. Stanley, 87, of Fife Lake, died Fri, Oct 22, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Stanley spent her early years in Kalkaska County, and later resided in Detroit and Dearborn until returning to the Fife Lake Area in 1970. She was a member of the Fife Lake United Methodist Church, the Boardman Area Senior Citizens and the Fife Lake Historical Society. She enjoyed her family and friends.
Born in Deibert on Oct 30, 1911, she is the daughter of Karey and Minnie Doherty Barber. On Jan 27, 1934, in Mancelona, she was united in marriage with J. William Stanley, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by son Ronald (Connie) Stanley of Clarkston, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Oct 25 at Fife Lake United Methodist Church; Pastor Howard Seaver officiated. Interment was in Fife Lake Cemetery.
