Mildred L. Root, 208 N. Church St., age 50, died Wed, Jul 15, 1964, at St. Joseph Hospital, Ann Arbor. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sat at the Garden Chapel of the Lewis N. Small Mortuary. Rev. Kenneth Harris officiating. Burial in Byron Cemetery. The body rests at the mortuary. Mrs. Root may be seen after Fri morning. She was born in Poseyville, MI, on Nov 10, 1913, the daughter of Charles and Silena MacKay. Mrs. Root married Lloyd Root on Oct 16, 1937 at Flint. Surviving are: husband, Lloyd; son, Richard; brother, Theodore MacKay, all of Byron.
