Michael James McKinnon, 5, of Rapid City, died Wed, Mar 22, 1995, at Traverse City Community Hospital.
He was born Aug 17, 1989, in Traverse City, the son of Stuart W. and Lori (Riegler) McKinnon, who survive.
He was a student at Lakeland Elementary School in Elk Rapids, who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting with his father and bowling.
Also surviving are sisters Heather and Amanda McKinnon, brothers, Stuart and Jonathan McKinnon, all of Rapid City; grandparents Clifford and Delores McKinnon of Alden and Mary Jane Riegler of Rapid City; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Mar 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elk Rapids. The Rev. James Coke officiated. interment at Milton Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice.
