Melvina “Mel” Taylor, age 78 of Wheeling, died Sun, May 18, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling.
She was born Nov 5, 1935 in Wheeling daughter of the late George and Edna Clyde Taylor.
Mel was a retired CAN and a member of the Way Memorial Temple First Spiritualist Church, Wheeling Island.
In addition to her parnets she was preceded in death by one sister: Leann Burgy; two brothers, George and John Robert “JR” Taylor and a grandson, Chad Davies.
Survivors include four sons, Mike (Sumako) Davies of Okinawa, Japan, John (Janie) Davies of Martins Ferry, OH, Cledis and Todd Taylor both of AZ; one daughter, Timberly (Rick) West of Wheeling; one brother, Glenn (Barbara) Taylor of Wheeling; 7 grandchildren: Christy Shreve, Ryan, Zachary, Mace, and Aaron Taylor, Richard “Bub” West and Desiree Murray, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
