Mrs. Mary O'Malley, 91, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Feb 25, 1993 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. O'Malley moved to Kalkaska from Detroit in 1968. She was a retired registered nurse, and a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, and the activities and fellowship at the Senior Citizens Center.
Mrs. O'Malley was born in East Pittsburgh, PA on Oct 30, 1901 to John and Mary Lewis McDonald. She was married on Sep 13, 1922, in Pittsburgh, PA to Michael O'Malley who preceded her in death on Feb 8, 1949.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas O'Malley of Fife Lake and John O'Malley of Utica; one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Bloch of Dearborn; one niece Mary E. Christman of Wyandotte, seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sat, Feb 27, 1993, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic church. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
