Mary L Shearer, 97, of Kalkaska, formerly of Fife Lake, died Feb 14, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Shearer was a homemaker, and moved to the Fife Lake area in 1965 from Kalamazoo. She enjoyed crafts, birds, and cats.
Mrs. Shearer was born in Kalamazoo on Nov 17, 1900, to John and Rose Wright Polderman. On Aug 6, 1928, in South Bend, IN, she married Raymond Shearer, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1985.
Sisters Frances, Marguerite and Ruth; also preceded her in death.
Surviving are sister Doris (Dot) Burtle of CA; several nieces and nephews; and grand nieces and nephews; and special friend Clell Dennis.
No services are planned.
Arrangements were handled by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
