Mary Kay Stebbins, 61, died Jun 7, 1998. She was born in Traverse City on Jul 24, 1936, the daughter of Bernard and Rachel (Solomon) Cleek and lived in Gratiot County before moving to St. Johns. 

Mary Kay was a member of the First United Methodist Church and contributed to her community all of her life. She was formerly the church and choir pianist at Ithaca Wesleyan Holiness Church, a former Cub Scout leader, and past president of the Jaycee Auxiliary in Ithaca. 

She married Ronald Stebbins, Aug 27, 1955, in Kalkaska. 

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald, of St. Johns; sons Michael (Cheryl) Stebbins of Fort Wayne, IN and Robert (fiance Nancy Collins) Stebbins of Boston, MA; daughter Julie (Rick) Boertmann of Ann Arbor; and five grandchildren. Mary Kay was preceded in death by her parents. 

Funeral services will be held Jun 11 at 1 pm at Osgood Funeral Home, St Johns. Burial will be at Mt Rest Cemetery with Rev. Steve Weinberger officiating. The family will receive friends Wed 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Hospice for Clinton County, or American Cancer Society.
