Mary Christine Slick, 65, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 17, 1994, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Slick had been a resident of Kalkaska since 1972, after moving here from Ypsilanti.
She was born in Beckwith, West Virginia on Feb 3, 1929, to George W. and Mary E. (Blake) Brooks. On Apr 3, 1948, in Wayne, she married Claire G. Slick.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth G. Slick and her father, George W. Brooks.
Surviving are her husband, Claire; her mother Mary Brooks of New Baltimore; three sons, George and Chris Slick both of Kalkaska and Paul Slick of Rapid City; three daughters, Mary DeEtte Hoose of Dearborn, and Cindy Jo Halligan of Kalkaska,; two brothers, Charles Brooks of Sun City, CA, and rank Brooks of New Baltimore; one sister, Essie Petrie of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren; one great grand daughter, several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Frances Godfrey.
No services are planned, and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
