Mrs. Mary Van Wagoner, 26 East Burdick Street, Oxford, died at her home at 3 p.m. Thursday. She had been ill fourteen weeks.
She was born in Brandon Township April 30, 1852 the daughter of Robert and Euna Steele Bailey. She was married to Fred Van Wagoner Dec. 30, 1878 in Brandon Township. She attended the rural school in Brandon and Oxford township and had lived in Oakland County all her life. She was a member of the Oxford Methodist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Rena Van Wagoner and Mrs. Lena Mosher of Oxford, a sister Mrs. W.H. Gregg of Detroit and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Whitcomb Mabley chapel. Oxford with Rev. George Woomer officiating and burial in Oxford Cemetery.
