Martin J Koski, 68, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Jun 19, 1997, at Meadows of Grayling.
Mr. Koski was employed by Driveway Services prior to his retirement in 1986 when he moved to Kalkaska County. he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a former member of PLAV. He was a member of the Bear Lake Firefighters Association, the Bear Lake Improvement Association and a volunteer for Kalkaska Family Independence Agency. He enjoyed gardening and his home.
Born in Detroit on Mar 23, 1929, the son of William and Opal Walsh Koski. On Oct 7, 1967, in Detroit, he married Charlotte Petty who survives.
He is also survived by sons Jack of CA and Michael of Ann Arbor; daughters Diane Clark, Penny Koski, and Michelle Koski all of NH, and Cindy Koski of Roscommon; stepson Duane Petty of Kalkaska; stepdaughters Cynthia Sherwood and Charlene Musser, both of Kalkaska; sister Patricia Berhorst of AZ; and 11 grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Bear Lake Christian Church.
