Martha "Jimmy" Calhoun Lee, passed away Fri, Oct 7, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. Martha was born Aug 12, 1921 to the late Ray and Grace (Bangle) Calhoun.
She was a long time resident of Straw Town IN but has been residing in Northern Michigan for the last couple of years with her late son Von Lee and daughter in law Joanie. Martha has been a member of the Eastern Star, as well as a member of the Omega Christian Church and the South Boardman United Methodist Church.
Martha is survived by her grandchildren Rebecca (John) Sy of Noblesville, IN; Von Charles Lee II of Kalkaska; her two cherished great grandchildren Alyshia and Mason Sy; and her daughter in law Joan Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lavon and her son Von.
Visitation for Martha was held Tue, Oct 11, 2011, from 4 to 7 pm with an Eastern Star service at 7 pm at the Cicero Chapel of the Hartley Funeral Home, 209 Jackson St., Cicero, IN. The funeral service will be Wed, Oct 12, 2011 at 11 am also at the funeral home with the Rev. Neal Brown officiating.
