Martha B. Buffenbarger, 85, resident of Bluffton for 40 years before moving to Clinton, TN, died at 7:20pm Sun at Meadowvale Care Center.
While a resident of Bluffton, Mrs. Barffenbarger worked at Backman Foods, retiring after 23 years.
She was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Clinton.
She was born at Bridgeport, IL, on Mar 27, 1913 to William E. and Eliza Havens Blocher. Her marriage at Bluffton on Sept 29, 1979 was to Harvey Buffenbarger, who died January 22, 1993.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Marty Anne) Betz of Bluffton; a son, Bill Cockelreas of Clinton, TN; two stepsons, Herb Buffenbarger of Coldwater, OH, and Richard Buffenbarger of Alamo, CA; three grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at a later date in Six Mile Cemetery.
