Mark W. Michelon, 43, of Rapid City, died Thu, Feb 3, 1994 at Traverse City Community Hospital.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Traverse City and the Michigan Home Builders Association. He was a graduate of Carmen High School in Flint and had worked for Beecher Lumber Company in Flint. He had been a resident of the area for the past 15 years and was employed by Erb Lumber in Kalkaska for the past 16 years.
Mr. Michelon was born Feb 20, 1950, in Chicago, IL, to Cradeo and Dorothy (Schwarzkopf) Michelon. On Feb 20, 1971, in Royal Oak, he married Anne Schowalter, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sarah E. and Rebecca A. both at home; his mother, Dorothy Michelon Wesoleck of Elk Rapids; a sister Marie Haas of Saginaw; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held Mon, Feb 7, 1994, at the Elk Rapid Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. The Rev. Gerry Schmidt officiated.
