Marjorie Ruth Clapsaddle Stoner, 71, formerly of Brown City, died December 6, 1992 in her home.
She was born Apr 6, 1921 in Brown City to Ernest and Emma Clapsaddle.
She married David Stoner on Jun 9, 1956 in Port Huron.
She attended nursing school in Lansing and operated a nursing home for many years until she retired in 1980. She enjoyed camping and being out in the woods.
She is survived by her husband, David, two daughters, Shirley (Howard) Ashford of Burton; Judy (Tom) Sweet of Moran; Ernest (Sharon) Diem of Flint; a son in law, Joe Burgos of Port Huron; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beverly Burgos and four brothers, Vern, Ernest, Russell and Victor “Bud” Clapsaddle.
Funeral services were held in the Carman Funeral Home, Rev. James Walker officiated. Burial was in Omard Cemetery.
