Mario Mucaria, 73, of Rapid City, passed away on Mon, Jul 30, 2012 at Munson Medical Center. He was born on Sep 25, 1938 in Detroit.
Mario married the former Joy Gniewkoski on Aug 31, 1964 in Harbor Woods, MI. Together they raised four wonderful children. Mario served his country proudly as a member of the US Marines. He was an engineer in the tool and die industry and retired from Dura in Mancelona.
Mario enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Mario is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Joy; his dear children, Mario Mucaria Jr of Traverse City, Chris (Danette) Mucaria of MA, Tony Mucaria of Traverse City, and Corina (Rich) Rybka of Lake Leelanau; his six cherished grandchildren, Nick, Dominic, Joe, Daunte, Hailey, and Gabriel; three sisters; and two brothers.
Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Barney Querbach.
