Marilyn L. Laskowski-Parker, 50, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Feb 10, 1999, at her home.
Marilyn moved to Kalkaska County from Sterling Heights in 1976. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, pets, exercising, and especially her family.
Marilyn was born in Mt. Clemens on Apr 27, 1948, to Clarence and Margaret Hughart Denomme. She married Thaddeus Laskowski in East Detroit on Jul 10, 1965. He preceded her in death on Feb 23, 1989. She then married Richard Parker who survives.
Also surviving are sons Steven (Robin) Laskowski of Gaylord and Mark Laskowski of Kalkaska; daughter Lisa (Steve) Ludwig of Grand Rapids; brothers Dennis Denomme of Traverse City and Martin Denomme of Mount Clemens; half sister Beverly Smith of Emmett, and grandchildren Caleb and Faith Laskowski of Gaylord.
Brother Robert Denomme preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb 15 at St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church; Fr Walter Derylo and Fr. Patrick Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
The Rosary was recited Feb 14 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
