Marilyn J Shuert, 85, passed away peacefully at the Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City on Dec 31, 2019. She was born Feb 16, 1934 in Flint the daughter of Harry (Pete) and Doris Willoughby.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Peter Jon Shuert; two sons, Mark Shuert and Jeffrey (Lisa) Shuert; a daughter, Jennifer (John) Youker; four grandchildren, Alexandria (Chuck) Faust, Jacob Youker, Samantha Shuert and Amanda Youker; and one great grandchild, Sophia Faust.
Marilyn had a huge love of life, family, and friends, She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, history, traveling, and beating Jeopardy contestants. Her smile and laugh will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank the Pavilions staff for their loving care.
