Marie E (Schaffer) Snyder, age 90, of North Canton, passed away Mon evening. Bornin Canton to the late Anthony and Mary (Burche) Schaffer, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Clarence L Snyder and grandchildren Connor and Callie Stevic. Marie was a 1946 graduate of McKinley High School. Her career included working for McKesson and Robins, Cutler Realty and Dillards. She was a very devoted member of Little Flower Catholic Parish.
Marie is survived by her children: Cindy (Byron) Knight, John (Connie) Snyder, Donald (Deborah) Snyder, Denise (James) Stevic, seven grandchildren; Amy (Vince) Miller, John Snyder, Christine Haddox, Renee Snyder, Laruen (Brenton) Simonson, Matthew (Dana) Snyder, John STevic, four great grandchildren: Brandon and Alyssa Snyder, Monroe Snyder, Owen Simonson, sister, Pauline (Harold) Sowers.
Family and friends will be received on Sun from 5 – 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Mon at 10 am in Little Flower Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin celebrant. The funeral procession ill form at church. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marie’s name may be made to Little Flower Catholic Parish or the Plain Township Fire Department.
