Marian L Willett, 89, of Mancelona, died Fri, Feb 19, 1999, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Marian was born Dec 21, 1909, in Coldwater, the daughter of Fayette and Jennie (Letts) Graham. On May 12, 1940, in Coldwater, she married William Willett. They moved to Kalkaska in 1945, and to Mancelona in 1984. She had worked as a nurses aide at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center for several years. Marian was a member of the Antrim Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, farming and horseback riding.
Marian is survived by son Carl Allen (Evelyn) Thompson of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1971; and granddaughter Carolyn in 1988.
Funeral services were Feb 23 at the Antrim Church of Christ in Mancelona; Pastor Mark McCool officiated.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by the Paullin-Penzien Funeral Home in Mancelona.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Heart Association or donor's choice.
