Margie L. Jeffers passed away peacefully at her daughter Judy’s home August 25, 2010. Margie was born in Lacey, Washington to Lillian and Frank Russell on February 13, 1919. She married Nyal Jeffers on December 31, 1937. They were happily married for 64 years before Nyal passed away in 2001. Margie is survived by her two daughters, Carol Thietje (Ed) and Judy Jeffers-Warren (VJ); four grandchildren, Suzanne Thietje Williams, Chrisi Thietje Land, Tracie Swartling Cannon, and Jeffery Swartling; and seven great grandchildren. Margie lived in the Olympia area all her life. The last two years she spent the winters living in Yuma, AZ with Judy and VJ. She loved going to Reno, playing with her grandchildren, and reading in the sunshine. Margie was a kind, giving soul and we will miss her every single day. Per Margie’s wishes, there will be no services.
