Lynn E. Forstner, 46, a self-employed logger from South Boardman, died Tuesday, May 8, 1990, as the result of a logging accident in Clearwater Township of Kalkaska County.
He had lived in Kalkaska since 1972, and moved to South Boardman one year ago. He was a 1961 graduate of Atlanta, Michigan, High School. He served as a missleman in Germany for three years with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Forstner was born in Pontiac on June 28, 1943. On Aug. 29, 1964, in Atlanta, he was married to Judith Anderson who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Daniel of Rapid City, Russell of Kalkaska, and Chris at home; his father, Thomas Forstner of Harrisonville, Missouri; his mother, Dorothy Cady Forstner of Baldwin; one brother, Steven of Baldwin; one sister, Leanor Graham of Harrisonville, Missouri; one grand daughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 11, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Rollin Shetler and Rev. Marvin Claassen officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
