Luke L Zook, 76, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Sep 21, 1999, at his home.
Mr. Zook resided in Oregon prior to moving to Kalkaska County in 1980. He had been employed in the manufactured home industry, and at the time of his death was employed by Glen's Market in Kalkaska. he was a member of the Mennonite Church.
Born in Tofield, Alberta, Canada, he is the son of Roy and Salina Miller Zook. On Nov 24, 1979, in Cummins, he was united in marriage with Irene Gerber, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Daniel Zook, Mary Zehr, and Cynthia Anderson, all of Oregon, and Sally Shetler of Kalkaska; sisters Esther Bruce, Estella Kieffaber and Eldora Hartzler, all of Kansas, and Elvera Berkey of Arkansas; 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Madrene; brothers Justin, George, John, and Roy Jr; sisters Edna; and great grandchild Jonathan Shetler.
Funeral services were Sep 24 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Lester Otto officiated.
Additional services and burial will be in Sheridan, OR.
