Mrs. Luella C. Larson, 90, of Kalkaska, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1991 at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Larson moved to Kalkaska from Big Rapids in 1981. Prior to her retirement in 1966, she was a cook at Ferris State University. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake.
She was born on Jan 4, 1901 in Deshler, Ohio to Stephen and Anna (Laubenthal) Schon. In 1924, she married John Marhofer, both of Fife Lake; two daughters, Margaret Kent and Kathy Perkins, both of Fife Lake; one brother Milford Schon of Lansing; two sisters, Viola Lawens of Beal City and Florence Corrigan of Sylvania, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
One son, Joseph Marhofer and one grandson, George Parrish preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, Feb 15, 1991 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Fife Lake. Father Patrick Barrett officiated. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
